Megeve French Alps
This is just a picturesque postcard sort of place. The small village is so very cute especially covered in snow. The best way to get here is either fly into Geneva and take a shuttle, or take the TGV from Paris to Annecy ( 3 hours ) and then shuttle from here.
The skiing is just out of this world and the lift passes are a lot less per day than the USA. There are several great hotel options in the center of the village , which means about 100 ft to the chairlift. Also it is only 20 mins to Chamonix by car so you can ski there for the day as well, and for the adventurous you can also drive to Verbier in the Swiss Alps in about 1 1/2 hours for a day ski as well.
There are flights in Feb for as low as $578 round trip.

Which is a super cute hotel with rates from 225 euro a night in the winter.
This is right in the center of the village and just a few feet from the main lift in town.
Super cozy rooms in a old mountain chalet style.
They have a great breakfast and the dinner menu is very nice too.
Another option if you have deeper pockets is Hotel Mt Blanc
This is a 4 star hotel and is priced from 500 euro a night, the restaurant at this hotel Les Enfant Terribles is stunning, and they also own the amazing slopeside lunch option of L'Alpette.
Megeve has thousands of acres of great skiing, on multiple mountains, with amazing places to eat and drink, there is a super cool underground jazz club in the center of town for late night fun, there is a ice skating rink in the center of town, ,many many cute little shops, restaurants in this picture perfect village.
